Thanks to our donors, both inpatients and outpatients at Putney are relying on two U-step walkers, with laser light and cueing modules, to safely assist our patients with their mobility.
These walkers increase our patients' independence and reduce falls, especially among those with neurological conditions, such as Parkinson's disease. These walkers provide more stability, manoeuvrability, and control compared to other versions.
The addition of the laser lights and cueing modules help patients overcome freezing episodes.
