Safely supported by donors
One of our long-term patients in our Spinal Injury Unit is now safely back on their feet and regaining independence thanks to our donors. Due to visa issues they were ineligible for NDIS funding which would allow them to purchase essential walking aids.
Thanks to our donors, our foundation was delighted to fund a forearm support frame and walk belt. With this equipment, our client can now safely practise walking whilst being supported by the frame and a physiotherapy team. This patient is excited to take their first steps to being able to leave full-time support.
