Generous donations purchased the most important items that can make or break a bedroom—a new bed and bedding.
A new resident to our supported accommodation required 24/7 care owing to having an acquired brain injury, early onset Alzheimer's disease, being a widow for quite a few years ago and children living long-term overseas. Due to experiencing significant financial hardship, donations were used to provide her with the most useful housewarming gift possible. After having lived in hospital for several months, this new bed and bedding was even more appreciated than usual.
Thanks to our donors, this resident settled in very happily into her new abode.
