Leave a gift in your will for those in need
Thank you for considering leaving a gift in your will to Royal Rehab.
Leaving a gift in your will to Royal Rehab can make such a huge impact on empowering people's lives.
A gift in a will can be done in a few ways:
- Leaving a percentage of your estate, for instance 1–5%, will not only look after your loved ones but also other people in need.
- Leaving a specific amount of money. Please note this does not take into consideration any changes in your circumstances.
- Leaving a gift of real estate, stocks, bonds, shares, artwork, jewellery or another type of collection.
It's easy enough to leave a gift in your will—you can either include it as you write your will or if you already have a will, simply add it as a codicil. To assist you with this we have created a guide.
Whatever your circumstances, we advise you to see your solicitor to assist with drafting your will to ensure your wishes will be followed. If you are in need of a solicitor then the Law Society of NSW provides a helpful online tool, Find a lawyer.
Although this is a personal decision for you to make, we do suggest you let your family know of your wishes ahead of time.
While it is not necessary, we do appreciate it when our supporters let us know about their intended gift. This helps us to plan for our future and gives us the opportunity to pass on our thanks to you for your generosity.
If you have any queries about this please do not hesitate contacting us. Please rest assured that all information about your bequest will be treated confidentially by Royal Rehab.
