Gladesville Ryde Magic Football Club once again kicked goals by demonstrating the strength of community spirit at its fifth annual Stroke Recovery Cup, held on Saturday 12 July 2025, at Christie Park in partnership with Hawkesbury City Football Club.
The event shone a spotlight on stroke prevention and recovery while rallying support for those whose lives have been affected by stroke. A community raffle formed the heart of the fundraising efforts, with every dollar raised going directly towards stroke awareness and recovery initiatives.
This year, Royal Rehab Private Ryde, a leading provider of stroke rehabilitation, was privileged to be the chosen beneficiary. The generosity of the club and its community was celebrated at its end-of-year presentation on Sunday 14 September 2025, when a cheque for an incredible $5,500 was presented to Royal Rehab in support of its vital local stroke recovery services.
