Lydia and Finlay

20 Jan 2026

In 2025, Lydia and Finlay decided to embark on a big adventure: cycling over 3,000 km from Albania to Portugal on old second-hand bikes.

Lydia and Finlay thought this challenge would be a good opportunity to raise money for a cause close to their hearts. Both have family members who have been greatly impacted by stroke and received help from charities like Royal Rehab Private Petersham and BASIC (Brain and Spinal Injury Centre in the UK).

Lydia and Finlay each plan to raise at least $1 per km they cycle, in the hope of helping people who have been impacted by stroke and other brain or spinal injuries. Any donation, even something as little as $1, has an impact.

Although they have now reached Portugal they are still continuing their quest.
