Cailtin Reid is a survivor in the truest sense. Critically injured in a skiing accident, she began her new life as a brain injury survivor. With very little memories from her early days in the intensive care unit, Caitlin began the arduous process of rebuilding her life, a process that continues to this day.
In her book, she shares practical information to help others best navigate life after brain injury. She hopes that by sharing her own experience, she can provide useful insight into what recovering from a brain injury may be like for your loved one or patients, and ultimately help you to best support them through their own journey.
Proceeds from the sale of this book are donated to the organisations that facilitated Caitlin's remarkable recovery, Royal Rehab, the Hunter Brain Injury Service and the Illawarra Brain Injury Service.
